2006 transition bottlerocket
this bike has been in my possession for about a year now actually over a year. i ordered the frame directly from transition when i found out that my red big hit was messed up and not very good for what i did with it. the bike, so far, has been such an amazing ride. i would compare it to my ex-girlfriend, haha. its set up as a full fledged freeride bike but it began life as a urban bike, yes i used to ride my full suspension urban. there were some great times had on that set up along with all of the set ups of the tranny
the urban huckster herself....there were some good times had on that bike.

but now i have a hardtail for riding around urban and dirt jumping with. so thus i changed the overall goal of this bike from urban/dj to freeride and i would like to think for the most part the bike is finished in its current form.

2003 Azonic Steelhead
this bike was actually acquired from my good friend marc seemann about a year ago. he had definitely put the bike through its paces but i saw some potential there and i really wanted to try out a hardtail. 100 dollars later i have a "new to me" frame, seatpost, and collar. it took me quite some time to go through all the transformations from start to finish but lucky for you there were mostly all documented!

as you can see the steelhead has had very different looks. i used to be all about new stuff and changing things up, im really happy that i grew out of that. i dont think that i would be able to do half the things i can do now if i were still changing out parts all the time.
the bike has also been to some fun sopts but no where huge or anything. started life in west des moines then moved up to ames where it has pretty much stayed due to lack of traveling fund. it has been to okoboji, des moines and surrounding, west union, and where ever marc took it.
i dont even want to think about how much money all in all i have in this bike cause im sure its 3 or 4 times more than the bike is worth but whatever i LOVE IT!!

i just got a new juicy 7 for it. to bad its winter or i would be out riding it :( oh well....
2007 or 2008 Redline Monocog
this bike is new to me i bought it a couple months ago with the bonus money from my job. its not the flashiest thing obviously but it gets the job done. i recently went riding on some gravel roads with this bike and i think that might be the reason that i am not deathly-ill. oh well shit happens. nothing too terribly exciting to say about this rig although it is a 29er which is something interesting. i decided that if i was going to get an XC specific bike it had to have something unique about it and i guess 29er was just the first thing i was told about. im not really built for XC but i guess i make due with some stops here and there. i feel bad for the people who ride with me and feel as if they need to stop and wait for me. i know that they just want to ride and flow and stuff i guess im just not built for the endurance yet, maybe soon though.

1954 Goodyear Cruiser
haha this bike is kinda the shit. when i first got it i wasnt really about cause i dont mean to sound like a girl or anything but the saddle was just so damn uncomfortable, it was one of the old old old school metal coil with no cushion just pleather over it. but now that i have invested some time in it, the bike has come together very nicely. the beer box on the back is not mine, i can not take credit for it, the box is emilys and im glad she left it at our place haha. its pretty much only used for transporting things to and from the gas station, though i hope that over the spring and summer next year it can be ridden to the bars and else where around ames. the only problem i have with leaving it outside of the bars up here is that most of the people that go to bars in Ames and total duetsch bags who dont even deserve to look at my 1954 cruiser damnit!!
but i sapose you are

look for me cruisin next summer on the all over the damn place!
1980's BMX...i have no idea
about this bike was graciously donated to bike world by someone and then i was given permission to take this off their hands. believe it or not it does run and work. i have riden it almost 4 or 5 miles since i have acquired it, now i know that may not sound like much but look at the damn thing haha. i have been debating whether or not i should buy some new tires for it cause the ones that are on their are about to explode all over the place. the problem with this is that i really dont want to invest any money into this, i know its would only be like 40 bucks but thatsinfinite amounts more than the damn bike is worth. quite the problem i look forward to what you think on the situation.

yaa i know, its the shit!!
well those are my rigs let me know what you think......
